Setting up your WAVE account takes under two minutes. This guide walks you through registration, email verification, and initial organization setup so you can start streaming as quickly as possible.
Navigate to wave.online/signup and enter your work email address and a strong password. WAVE supports SSO through Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, and GitHub if your organization has enabled it. After filling in your details, click Create Account.
{% callout type=“info” title=“Enterprise SSO” %} If your organization uses SAML or OIDC-based single sign-on, contact your IT administrator for the SSO login URL. You will not need to create a password in that case. {% /callout %}
After signing up, you will receive a verification email within a few seconds. Click the Verify Email link in the message to activate your account. If you do not see the email, check your spam or junk folder. You can request a new verification email from the login page by clicking Resend verification.
{% callout type=“warning” title=“Verification required” %} You must verify your email before you can create streams or access API keys. Unverified accounts are limited to the dashboard overview only. {% /callout %}
Once verified, WAVE will prompt you to create or join an organization. An organization is the top-level container for all your streams, team members, billing, and API keys.
{% stepper %} {% step title=“Name your organization” %} Choose a display name (e.g. “Acme Broadcasting”) and a URL-safe slug (e.g. “acme-broadcasting”). The slug appears in your stream URLs and API endpoints. {% /step %}
{% step title=“Choose your region” %} Select the primary data region for your ingest and edge servers. WAVE operates in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. You can add secondary regions later for multi-region failover. {% /step %}
{% step title=“Invite team members” %} Add collaborators by email. You can assign roles such as Admin, Producer, Viewer, or Billing. Team members receive an invitation email and can join immediately. {% /step %} {% /stepper %}
New organizations start on the Starter plan, which includes 100 hours of live streaming per month and basic analytics. You can upgrade to the Pro or Enterprise plan at any time from the Settings > Billing page. See Plans and Pricing for a detailed comparison of features and limits.
Your account is ready. Head over to Your First Stream to learn how to configure an ingest endpoint and go live with your first broadcast.
