What phones are supported?
WAVE Mobile Producer runs on iOS 16+ (iPhone 12 and later) and Android 13+ (devices with hardware H.264 encoding). Flagship devices from Samsung, Google Pixel, and OnePlus are fully tested.
How does bonded connectivity work?
The app simultaneously uses all available network interfaces (Wi-Fi, 5G/LTE, Ethernet via adapter). Traffic is load-balanced across connections. If one drops, others absorb the load with no stream interruption.
Can I use Mobile Producer as a remote camera for a multi-cam show?
Yes. Each phone appears as an SRT source in WAVE Cloud Switcher. A producer in the studio can switch between phone cameras and traditional cameras seamlessly.
What about data usage on cellular?
At 1080p, expect 3-6 GB per hour depending on scene complexity. Adaptive bitrate reduces usage on congested networks. The app shows real-time data consumption per network interface.
