Do I need any hardware to use Cloud Switcher?
No. Cloud Switcher runs entirely in the cloud. Any device with a browser can control it. Camera sources connect via WebRTC (phones/laptops), SRT (professional cameras), NDI (local network), or RTMP (encoders).
What is the switching latency?
Under 50ms for transitions between sources. This is imperceptible to viewers. The cloud processing adds 1-3 seconds of glass-to-glass latency depending on the output protocol and CDN configuration.
Can I use Cloud Switcher with my existing cameras?
Yes. Any camera that outputs SRT, NDI, RTMP, or WebRTC works with Cloud Switcher. This includes professional cameras with SRT encoders, PTZ cameras with NDI, smartphones via the WAVE Mobile Producer app, and laptops via browser WebRTC.
How does pricing work for multiple outputs?
Each plan includes a base number of simultaneous outputs (1-4 depending on tier). Additional outputs are $199/month each. Outputs can target different platforms (YouTube, Twitch, custom RTMP) simultaneously.
